Their most popular foodstuffs are waffles, fries, smoute-bollen, stoofvlees, chocolate, and donuts.
 

Waffles 

Have you ever heard about waffles? The most famous and tasteful refreshments of België. You can find it in almost every food store in Belgium. The savory waffle is a warm waffle with chocolate sauce, ice cream, or with powdered sugar topping. It is made from plain flour, egg, baking powder, milk, and sugar mixed, and then pour a small quantity of this batter in a waffle machine. The Waffle machine is similar to the sandwich maker with a dissimilar pattern. These are in different standards. Few professional machines are costly but most are cheap. So it is good for you if you buy a cheaper machine and make waffles at home. Once you feed will never forget and crave more savory waffles. Some people add yeast to waffle batter as well to make it more fluffy.

 

Fries 

You must be thinking fries are an international snack so why does it come in the list of top food in Belgium? This is because the procedure is different. How do they make fries? Potato is a national vegetable of the Belgian nation and fries come at the top recipes of Belgisch cuisines. They make them, first cutting potatoes into small chunks and frying them in oil till yellow colored then cool for a while next fry them again in oil. With this process, fries remain crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. That is why Belgian fries have dissimilar flavors. 



Chocolate 

As Belgium is famous for its chocolates, the most famous with most varieties and savoriness of well-known chocolates are discovered in België. White chocolate, milk, and puur (which is dark) chocolates are some kinds. Chocolates are also used as the most common gift. Tourists also carry chocolates for their family and friends. Belgisch chocolates contain some alcohol as well and if you have alcohol allergies or if you are Muslim you are prohibited from taking alcohol, for both reasons you avoid eating them.

 

Stoof-vlees 

Stoof-vlees is pronounced as stof’- flais and it is luncheon or dinner in the top foods of Belgians feed. They make it while cooking beef, vegetables, and wine together and making potato puree with milk and butter a part but if you wanna skip wine you can, add some chicken or mutton stock in place of wine or you can cook it without wine and stock too. Smoute bollen

Smoute bollen is pronounced as smot ‘e’bolen, the yeasty balls are fried in oil after making a yeast dough. You can have raisins or any other flavor in it before frying and devouring them with or add some chocolate syrup or sugar powder as dressing as they hit in the top snacks of België cuisines too. The balls are very delicious, soft, and fluffy. You can make it at home and flavor it with coffee or tea. 

 




Donuts

Yes, donuts are truly famous worldwide cuisine of the 21st century. Every kid loves donuts. They are very famous in België as well. With different flavor coatings. 

Coffee & juices

Belgisch nations drink too much coffee and juices as well. On every occasion, coffee and juices are the most common drinks in België. They do not like soft drinks like Cola and Sprite. they just love coffee and juices and additionally, they drink alcohol.

Apart from all these cuisines some snacks like churros, pancakes, and croissants are also favored in Belgium. People drink too much coffee and alcohol over the years and sip fruit juices during summer as well.
