Pakistani Food

 

Whenever a European or a Belgian tastes Pakistani food they always sound. ‘it’s very spicy. Pakistani feed is peppery’. Yes, Pakistani meals are so spicy as we add different types of seasoning in our meals but not all meals are spicy some are less peppery. Pakistanis eat halal food.

 

Mutton, Beef, and Chicken

Being a Muslim Pakistani are carnivorous. Famous non-vegan dishes are Biryani, Qorma, Karahi, Tikka, and grilled Chicken are very spicy and savory. These cuisines are offered at marriage functions and festivities. Pak community makes it at home too occasionally and non occasionally. Besides these Haleem, Nihari, Pulao, Stew, and Achari Chicken are also tasty and remarkable menus in Pakistan. They prepare mince from meat as well as, cook it in different styles which are kababs and kofta. Asian fry vegetables with mutton, beef, and chicken as well.

 

Vegetables 

Pakistan nation loves vegetables as they are herbivorous too. They are blessed with a lot of savory vegetables like bottle gourd, beetroot, spring onion, turnips, carrots, potatoes, spinach, radish, ladyfingers, sweet potato, bitter gourd, eggplants, and beans. All these herbs they cook simply with fewer chilies. Additionally, stuffed vegetables with mince are part of Pakistani food. Some salad vegetables they dine as a salad with every menu. It is mandatory too in festivals and matrimony.




Lentils and rice

In Pakistani culture, people love rice and lentils most. These grains come in the top of the Pakistani food list. They boil rice with cumin and cook lentils with a few seasonings and enjoy them while mixing. They have a lot of traditional grain recipes like qabooli, peas pulao, biryani, pulao, tahiri, and chickpea rice. Some menus are so hot whereas others are less peppery and they dine these recipes with ‘raita’ which is simply yogurt with a little salt. Most Pakistanis enjoy rice recipes during summer.

 

Raita and chutney (sauce) 

Raita is like a side dish. Pak people make it with yogurt and add different seasons in it to make it more tasty or sometimes some vegetables too. All pak people also enjoy chutney which is a sauce made at home like chili sauce, mint sauce, or tomato sauce. They also love mango pickles with rice and lentils. Raita is mandatory too in parties and celebrations as Biryani is imperfect without raita and it is healthy as well.

 

Deserts 

Pak desserts are one of the most salubrious sweetmeals in the world. They are very unique and flavorful. As western deserts are very unhealthy, Pakistani sweets like carrots halwa, chickpeas halwa, rice kheer (pudding), and sheer khurma are healthful. Some are also unhealthy desserts like labe-shireen, jaleibi, and gulab jamun are famous desserts too.



Street food

Pak nation is famous for its unhealthy and unhygienic street food such as samosa, chickpea chaat, rolls, gol gappay. People enjoy a lot these poor refreshments as they make them at home too. 

 

 Bread, and oil loafs

Asians drink tea with their breakfast. They eat oil loaves which are normally called “paratha” which they prepare with flour. First, knead dough then make roti which is a disk-shaped bread then fry it in a straight pan while frying they add some oil to prepare an oil loaf or paratha which they enjoy as a morning meal with tea. Likewise, they make bread at home which is known as “roti” but without oil. yes, Pakistanis most of the time make bread at home. Rarely do they buy it from the market which they say is “tandoor”. On the other hand, tea bread is similar to Belgian white bread. 

 

Teahollic.

Easterns are also familiar as tea lovers and they gladly named themselves  “Teahollic”. As Belgians enjoy coffee all day, so do the Pakistanis drink tea every day, they drink tea all day long and on occasion as well. They cook it with tea grains and sugar in water after boiling few minutes add milk and simmer it again. They love tea with street food or with cakes and cookies which they buy from the bakery mostly.

 

 

Pak civilians are gourmet they bite various other culture’s cuisines as well like Chinese which they prepare with spices and named Desi Chinese and they love to taste other culture meals too. No doubt, the Pakistani food is savory, peppery, and the world’s tastier food too.
