After 10 years

In every country transportation service plays a key role. Civilians use it almost on a daily basis. But this transport become expensive within the last decade all over the world. In Europe and Belgium, it has become costly or can say more than double. How did the rates of tickets increase after 10 years let's highlight the summary.

In 2007

Civilians were happy with transport fares during 2007, as the prices were meager for bus and tram daily, monthly, and yearly passes. Only 0.70€ for one hour and this ticket remained valid for an hour. Moreover, monthly and annual abonnements were meager. The public was happy with the fare of the bus.

Later a few annuals, the prices were increased by 0.20€, during 2010 or 2011. It just costs 0.90€ for one ride for an hour. If anyone is required to change the buses or trams within an hour they do not need to pay for two fares. A ticket remained valid for an hour. How satisfied the public was. Train tickets were also very cheap. Even bus passes were made with a little cash. Passengers could travel easily and buy tickets on the bus as well cause that was just 1.50€ one way if anyone had to purchase a pass from the driver. But after 10 years they get heightened.

In 2015

It was too early when prices got high for urban travel. Citizens were appeased with 0.90€ charges, for a day and a route. It turned to 1.20€ for one trip. As I remember it was just 0.70€ in 2007 and 0.90€ during 2012 within 2 to 3 years it extended only to 0.20€ so why did it get high within 4 annuals almost 0.30€? The single pass cost was 1.20€ and it was charged by 2€ when passengers bought it directly from drivers on the tram. It was a little early, increasing fares but still, the public did not stop travelling. Transportation services are also necessary in the 21st century.

 In 2016

Civilians had not yet recovered from the shock of the past changes in fares of the urban system and the new trauma they got when it again increased to 0.30€ for bus and tram per route costs. After 10 years of urban transport, the prices almost double. Passengers have to pay for a single pass of 2.50€ when they do not have an actual ticket but they can buy it from the bus driver. The total price of one-way fare was 1.50€ and the public can use it once. It was too early that ticket charges were heightened again by 0.30€ after a year. This was not appeased, so most civilians went through monthly and yearly passes, which were lower than individual fares. The public has to travel daily, they find yearly passes cheaper.

2017

Again too early charges were extended by 0.20€ for a single trip, which was not good enough. It was very high only for one route when a passenger had to pay 1.70€. Whether the public is touring just for 2 or 4 stops or a little distance. Tickets were available for only 10 trips, which were pricey and the passenger was charged the same 2.50€ when directly purchasing a pass from Chauffeur.  This is the history of charges after 10 years. However, it was not highlighted till the next seven annuals —that satisfied citizens.

2024

Still, in 2024, the ticket price is 1.70€ per route which is ok because within 7 annuals it does not change. But still, it is an excessive price for a small tour. The direct ticket is available in the form of, payment from a bank using the internet. It is approachable on all buses and trams so that, no need to bother the driver. The passenger has to pay 2.50€ from the bank.

This is the summary, of the previous decade and how fares increased after 10 years. The passengers used to pay for lower tickets and now they pay a very high pass for traveling.
