Events, summerfest

 

In Europe, before start of summer vacations, many organizations arrange several Summerfest for kids and adults. This is because in the summer holidays, kids are free from their schools without home assignments and these vacations are especially for kids. Civilians take a few days’ leave from their workplace as well. They search some summer events for amusements via the Internet or in the booklet. 

 

Events by cities:

In European states, often districts manage some holiday festivals. In Belgium, cities individually design a lot of activities. Antwerpen is the biggest city in Belgium which has managed several events for summer holidays for kids as well as for adults. “Zomer voor Antwerpen” is a team of Antwerp city.

 

Summer for Antwerpen

“Zomer voor Antwerpen” is a Dutch term and it is pronounced as ‘zomer for Aantwerpen’ which can sound like “summer for Aantwerpen”. A team organizes several SummerFest for holidays when summer starts citizens wanna enjoy themselves. These activities include circuses, theaters, musical events, lighting shows, and fun events. Zomer for Antwerpen group assembles a leaflet for all programs with short descriptions and zones with timeframe. Some feasts last till the end of vacations and the rest only for a few days. Few activities are free of cost whereas many programs charge money to entertain. Some of these events are for kids and most of these are for adults. 


Civilians holiday plans

During the summer months July and August job workers get vacations to relax and enjoy as well. They spend these holidays with their kids and family and schedule summerfest. Some civilians plan to trip out of the country and mostly amuse themselves with inter-city events. For this reason, they search for celebrations via the Internet too. This organization also has a website with all activities with their timings which people can hunt easily. 

 

Volunteer work

During holidays many teenagers remain free from college and studies, which is why a few of them join a volunteer job. This is because they stay in the city and seek unpaid work to keep themselves busy. This group also offers volunteer work if anybody wants to work. That is how students and other youngsters join the team voluntarily.




30 years jubilation

In 2024 zomer for Antwerp has completed their 30 years. That is they are celebrating. This group offers a few free and many with-ticket programs. These shows involve the sunset in the evening at the lake, a summer bar with few circuses, oraison or orison is with fire and light play, smooth as fiasco a musical acrobat wand gymnastic dance show, terces circus which is a portion of physics and mathematics with amazing tricks, tortot is like a theater, timisien is an inflatable balloon, cactus is a walk with musical instruments, tabula is also like a theater a storyteller with live music, refrakto or rafracto is light and laser show, the thaw is a mix of theater, dance, and acrobat, cinema urban is a night film cinema where daily on big screen public can watch films, and zomer fabriek or summer fabric is with music, dance, sports, and parties. Last but not least muziek in de wijk is music in the neighborhood which is free lyrics at various places, this lyric includes tumba timba Cuban music, papayebrass Colombian music, Abdul and the gang from Morroco and Algeria, moticoma is Mozambique, rumba de bodas is an Afro Latin band, aysay is with open universe music, la murga armada is a Flemish band. Difference

I started teaching my 6-year-old   daughter   “who is a boy and who is a girl”. It is a little confusing in Europe to recognize the difference between girls & boys because they both remain in almost the same get-up. So I tell her that the boy is a guy who has short hair and wears a t-shirt with jeans. whereas a girl is somebody who has long hair and wears a long shirt.   Was she confused? Weather of Belgium

Belgium is a well-developed country. Everything in België  is good but most people do not like the weather of Belgium . This is just because the weather of Belgium is unpredictable.
